An Apology to The Nations

If your mixed up in the great American (P)rophetic movement, pay close attention to this article. There's prophets and apostles and then, in America we have "P"rophets and "A"postles.

For what it's worth, if you look in the Bible, there is only ONE "A"postle and there's only ONE "P"rophet.

AN APOLOGY to THE NATIONS

America is a land that is walking in her own spiritual light, and
our darkness is gross. The spiritual heresies and corruption that
festers in our land are erupting like boils spreading disease all
across the world. While there is a faithful remnant, much of our
Christianity is sick and we are willing carriers of this self
inflicted plague. Our festering wounds seem incurable.

As a heartsick American believer, I am writing to apologize to the
nations for the false gospel of greed we have poisoned you with.
Please, weigh what you hear from American Christian media in the
light of the Bible. In that light, we are found weighed, and wanting.

Our pricy prophets deliver pleasing words and playful images from
their own imaginations. A global prophetic alert recently went out
with images of dancers doing the Cancan because, so said the
prophet, "God says you Can-Can!" Huh? All things prophetic
have been turned into a profitable cash business. They promise
money, money, money; prosperity abounding!, but ignore the
required self-denial of the Cross. God says, in Jeremiah 23:29, "Is
not my word like fire?" declares the LORD, "and like a hammer
which shatters a rock?" Does a word that tickles the ear also
shatter rock? Can these soothing words really be the words of God?

We are exporting wholesale spiritual manifestations like the
primitive Mormons used to experience: visions of pillars of light,
orbs of light, strange spiritual manifestations and experiences not
rooted or found the Bible, and many beguiled saints are drifting
away from the sure word of Scripture as did the apostate Joseph
Smith. Now we have Holy Ghost feathers and glittering gold and
jewels appearing from the ether.

Revelation 17: 1-2, "Come, I will show you the punishment of the
great prostitute, who sits on many waters. With her the kings of
the earth committed adultery and the inhabitants of the earth were
intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries."

Notice how this spiritual whore is dressed, verse 3, "There I
saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with
blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns. The
woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering
with gold, precious stones and pearls."

The Great Whore of Revelation 17 is clad in colors other than white
and is glittering with what? Gold, precious stones and pearls. Wow.
Amazing that these are the exact same manifestations happening in
charismatic circles round the globe.

Worse, those who profiteer from this spiritual prostitution and
pollution are daring to call the wheat, tares, and the tares, wheat!
Is good now evil? Is up now down? What have we done?

Our apostate apostles, merchandisers of the anointing, stand in
gold-threaded Armani suits instead of the prayer wrought armor of
God enticing you with promises of blessing if you'll send in
your money. Aren't we simply to "Seek first the kingdom of God
and His righteousness" and then these things, and they are
only mere things, will be added to us? Since when are the marks of
an apostle wealth, fame, and power? Are not the marks of a true
apostle on his back from the blows and stripes of suffering for the
cause of Christ?

The original 12 apostles were ambassadors in chains, prisoners of
Christ. Our glitzy "super-apostles" have more in common with the
miracle working magicians of Pharaoh's court than Moses. All
but one of the original apostles was martyred for his testimony of
Jesus! When heads start rolling in America, will these self
professing men of God stand or will they run for their private jets
to escape the persecution? There will be no room on their jets for
those who made them rich. By their fruit, you will know them.

We have a charismatic witch, who, like her spiritual mother at
Endor, on a recent Christian TV talk show expounded about a
visitation from the spirit of her dead father while neutered men of
God, hungry for camera face time, fawned over her "beautiful"
experience. Isaiah 8:19, "When men tell you to consult mediums
and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire
of their God?" Necromancy, contacting the dead, is an ABOMINATION
to God. This is voodoo, not the faith once delivered unto the saints.
Forgive us for not rebuking the witch and for supporting her with
our money. She has a familiar spirit and is lying to you; deceiving
and being deceived!

Our popular prophets have promoted satan's greatest lie, his
cherished heart's desire, godhood. "Ye are gods," quote the
prophets of Babylon not quoting the whole counsel of God in
Psalms 82:6 - "I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children
of the most High". Verse 7 continues, "But ye shall die like men,
and fall like one of the princes". It was a stinging rebuke to the
presumption and arrogance of man, not an invitation to godhood!

Did we learn nothing from the fall in Eden? Isaiah 43: 10, "Before
Me there was no God formed, And there will be none after Me."
God says there will be no gods after him. Dogs have puppies,
Cats have kittens, but God does not have little gods! Forgive us
this heresy!

We've taught you the poison of religion. Remember the second
greatest commandment, "Love one another?" Our self-loving inner
Pharisee has taught us to ignore this command. To bypass God's
call to love, we simply label those whom we disagree with as
"religious". If they are just "religious" then we are somehow
excused from loving them. If you don't like someone personally in
the American church, just label them "religious" and move on. Is
this not having a form of godliness but no power? And we have
taught this clanging hypocrisy to the nations!

Instead of showing you agape love lived out in community, we have
gutted the very fruit of discipleship. John 13:35, "By this all men
will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one
another." Ahh, but love is costly and inconvenient and cannot be
lived during a 20 minute sermonette so we now we say, "You just
need to have faith." Yes, faith works through love. True faith will
work towards love's end.

Does not God say that if you see your brother or sister in need and
you say, as in James 2: 16, "'Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,'
and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what
use is that?" While we demand you have "faith" God demands that
we lay down our lives and love in the most practical of ways. What
use is "the God kind of faith" if you eat well while your sister is
starving? Don't tell her to "have faith", give her some of your food.
We have taught you to sin!

Brothers and sisters of the global church, the American church is
fast becoming apostate. I live here and see it day after day. There
is a praying remnant here who fear God, who have renounced
charismatic witchcraft and prophetic profiteering, the sad hallmarks
of the American church. Many of us have rediscovered the fear of
God, the Bible, prayer, and holy living. There are many here who
have not soiled their garment or bowed the knee to Baal but all
you get to see is the "Greed for God" hucksterism being exported
to the nations in the name of discipleship.

Forgive us. Pray for us. Do not seek to be like us. The American
prophetic movement and prosperity gospel is a two headed wolf
that will beguile you from the simplicity and purity of devotion to
Christ! Look in horror at the carnality, unsound doctrines, and
wreckage of the American church. This wolf maims and devours
all in its path.

In my spirit, I saw the foreshadowing of a tombstone slowly rising
across our land inscribed with Isaiah 50: 10-11.

10 Who among you fears the LORD
and obeys the word of his servant?
Let him who walks in the dark,
who has no light,
trust in the name of the LORD
and rely on his God.
11 But now, all you who light fires
and provide yourselves with flaming torches,
go, walk in the light of your fires
and of the torches you have set ablaze.
This is what you shall receive from my hand:
You will lie down in torment.

Come out from us and touch not the unclean thing. Don't let our
liars and merchandisers exploit you. Their prosperity promises
don't work here and they won't work for you, either. Seek the Lord, and
live.

"But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel
other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally
condemned!" - Galatians 1:8

The Poverty Of Country Music

If it can be said that graphic video games promote violence because the kids don’t see the fact that real bullets and real grenades make real blood, real pain and real death, then it should be said that CM promotes a sick society because lost upon us is the fact the real lasciviousness and real infidelity make real pain, real orphans and real destruction and real divorce.

I was shopping for a few food items at Price Chopper the other night and after a few minutes, I realized my intellect was being assaulted by the mindless blather of lyrics someone must have scribbled onto a Dixie cup and sold to Nashville as a Country Song. The words were pretty much the same bottom of the barrel scrapings as the previous song(s).

I’m not sure who puts these so called lyrical master pieces to music, but apparently they have a data base of about three to four standardized melody models that sell. Change a few notes here and there, change the timing and the rhythm a bit and “Voila!!” A new hit Country song!!!

The Country music culture began as a grass roots level culture and was never at the top of the intellectual scale and it doesn’t need to be any more than any other art or musical culture needs to be.

But what is it with the CM people? Not only does one song sound just like the last song, most of the lyrics lack any creativity, thought process or imagination. Those that do have any real point promote a love / hate relationship between the sexes, debase women to dense and depraved objects who think “tractors are sexy,” and present a twisted set of values such that women are something you hate and “bars are something you love.”

In fact, if you look at the word picture depicted by the generic whole of country music, you can easily visualize the life they sing about as a community of double wides. Inside is a picture of Jesus, a statue of Elvis and a neon Budweiser sign. Outside is a Ford F250 Heavy Duty Pickup that will never see a bale of hay, a roll of barbed wire or a cord of wood and whose only function is a status symbol which can haul empty beer cans and a Smokey Joe grill.

The population of this Country Music culture community consists of hard working, hard partying men, lascivious women, wives with the “wrong boots under their beds” and husbands with the wrong woman in their pickups, all of which are “D-I-V-O-R-C-E - ees.”

The only business establishment in this double wide community is the bar where you can have the time of your life” drinkin doubles” because your ex walked in with your present wife’s ex.
There you can drink yourself to oblivion to bury the remorse of losing your last double wide, your last truck and your last bass boat to your last wife, rather than deal with your own issues and baggage. When you finally get sober, you can reflect back on the 70’s when you were in high school and things were simple, just before you screwed your life up by marrying the “redneck girl.”

They say they are just singing about the hardships that come with real life issues, which is a very human thing to do. But if lasciviousness, infidelity, divorce and drunkenness are such normal real life issues then so are the heartbroken and emotionally scarred children who are victims of that lifestyle. But they don’t sing about that part do they.

So here’s a formula for divorce: “She’s got her daddy’s money, her mamma’s good looks and she’s standing there lookin at me.”

When the woman realizes she married an arrogant ass whose entire superficial value of her was “her mammas good looks and her daddy’s money.” Then later she walks into the bar with some other man and her superficial and shallow minded ex “starts shootin doubles” and becomes the life of the party?

This easy come easy go picture is hardly the reality of the devastation of divorce and the devaluation of people that accompanies superficial living.

So what about musicality? When I listen to CM today and compare it with C&W music of 30 years ago, I can’t help but notice that C&W artists back then had a great deal more creativity, originality and individuality to the melodies of their songs. So did artists of every other music genre for that matter. CW musicians are tight and precise with their music, even sophisticated. But when all your runs, riffs and melodies are basically lockstep cloned arrangements of everyone else’s sound, it amounts to little more than a cheap imitation or just a plagiarized “parrotization.” This applies to the lyrics also.

Yet despite its mindless lyrics and cold mashed potato tunes, CM remains the most powerful music influence in America with 45 million listeners buying over 77 million albums a year. It’s so popular that even the Chinese restaurants are playing it while we eat. Somehow kung po beef and country music don’t mesh well together. Sort of like chocolate covered dill pickles.

Oh well…. I can’t change the CM industry and I can’t change the choice of music our society embraces.

But I can’t help but wonder why the church, the right wing conservatives and the fundamentalists don’t speak up against the CM culture with the same gusto and fervor with which they attacked the rock culture for the past forty years, even shooting some of their own. Country Music / C&W was never any more wholesome than that of the rock music culture. Yet I never heard any preacher say “Country music will send yer kids ta hell!” I have yet to hear of a country music record burnin and the “It’s the words. No. It’s the beat. No It’s the words” argument has never been voiced by the church even though the same elements were always in existence in CM. In fact the beat was in the church’s music before they called it Rock n Roll.

I’m anticipating the day when we see Praise and Worship teams up there in skin tight Wranglers, cowboy hats and Justin boots.

Today Jan 21 is Michael King Jr Day!!!

That's right Folks!! Millions of us Americans are taking the day off to honor a farce! Ya see there is and never was a Martin Luther King Jr. There IS or WAS this black man by the name of Michael King. His father, after giving himself the name of "Martin Luther," (like he deserved it?)changed his son Michael's name to Martin Luther Jr. Hence the name, Martin Luther King Jr.

But neither Michael King Sr nor Michael King Jr's birth records were ever changed. So there was never a Martin Luther King Sr. Thus Martin Luther King Jr's only claim to the name is found in a false namesake.

So the Sr Michael King thought he would give his son the namesake of the great reformer Martin Luther because he wanted him to be a reformer. Hmmmmm....most people who know the real Luther as a reformer, know him as a bit of a racist also. What's wrong with this picture Mr King Sr?

We Americans take anything handed to us. We are DGI's (Don't Get It's) We DGI's used to celebrate the Birthdays of two great and Godly leaders; George Washington's birthday and Abraham Lincoln's Birthday. Then we DGI's said nothing while our DGI congress legislated for us a generic presidents day, obscuring the names of two great statesmen, and finally giving us a Birthday of this uncircumcised Philistine by name so we can all honor his Bday!!

And it's not even real! So we forsake honoring Washington and Lincoln in lieu of a philanderer and unfaithful husband, a poster boy for the Communist party and a Baptist preacher impostor who was a heretic denying the cardinal doctrines of the Bible. (And we call him "Rev" to ad insult to our self inflicted injury!) In fact the only 'holy' day we DGI's have that is named for a person is named for this Canaanite!!

Why is it that you can go to any city (or even an overgrown hicktown in the middle of KKK country) and you will find a major through fare named "MLK Boulevard" yet you don't find major avenues named after great statesmen. I would like to see a George Washington Carver Avenue cutting across a major city. He was a much more noble man and a much higher icon of righteousness and morality!!

Interesting thing! When this so-called advocate of non violent confrontation was shot (no, not assassinated) his non-violent followers rioted in the streets. So much for reform!

But what is most disturbing is the fact that the church in America is so devoid of discernment and so lacking in truth that they espouse this man as a preacher, a reverend, an example of Godliness..YIKES!!

I saw a so-called prophet named Jim Goll, who is a heavy hitter in the so-called (P)rophetic movement, impart the spirit of this dead impostor to a black preacher in 2002!! His words at a prophetic conference: "In the name of Jesus I give you a double portion of the spirit of Dr Martin Luther King. Receive it now!"

Not only is this false prophet a racist, he is a necromancer who doesn't know what the Bible says.

He's not the only one. Our pulpits are full of preachers dropping kudos on Michael King Jr because they too just repeat everything they hear that sounds "en vogue" and fashionable.

I say that instead of spewing out the plagiarized words of King's "I Have A Dream" speech, they would be much more honorable to quote "How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in your life you will have been all of these." George Washington Carver; a real reformer, statesman and man of God.

Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. In case you didn’t catch that, both "Rabbi" and "Master" are off limits for you.
There’s only one Rabbi here and it ain’t you!

12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

13 ¶But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. And I can’t think of a better example of this than those Pharisees who "Lord it over" the brethren because they know the original languages.

Dishonoring the Blood of The Martyrs

Do men die for that which they do not believe in? Absolutley not. Those who have been martyred and put in prison and tortured have endured such because they believed in something enough to endure it.
John Wycliffe, William Tyndale, John Huss, and John Bunyan were such men.
They believed that the common man should have the Bible in their own language and they were willing to spend years in prison, be burned at the stake and tortured as did scores of other believers to achieve that end.
How much blood was spilled to bring you the Bible in Hebrew? In Greek?
How much blood was spilled in order to bring you the Bible in English? Untold numbers of martyrs made the ultimate sacrifice to bring you the Bible in English.
In their day, Hebrew and Greek were still commonly taught and spoken, even in Europe. By the 17th century, Hebrew was a required language in the schools of those who had the means to have an education and the "learned men" had been fluent in speaking, writing, and translating Hebrew, and Greek and the oriental languages from their childhood.
Mighty men of God such as Wycliffe and Tyndale, and the many others spent their entire fortunes and died paupers to translate the Bible into English. As said before many lost their lives for this cause.
So I have to ask the question. If it is so vital to learn the original languages in order to get the fullest and most intimate sense of what God has to say to us, wouldn't these highly educated and righteous men have been more noble to lose their lives for the cause of bringing us the Bible in Hebrew and Greek?
Yet these men believed no such thing. They believed the Word of God for what it says. They knew the scriptures. Those who claim that a translation, especially the English translation is less than sufficient to bring to us the fullest sense of God's word, dishonour the blood of these martyrs, who are our brothers and sisters in the Lord who purchased us with his own blood.

May 05, 2007 Falling Springs, No Pretense No Hiearchy, Just Relationship

Which part of Acts and the rest of the NT does the present day Church not get?
Once a month we go to Falling Springs Church and experience there what will NOT be experienced at the average every day popish church:
Fellowship, Relationship, breaking bread, communion of saints.
There was no man up there usurping authority in the "so called" rightful place as pastor and leader and shepherd.
We weren't looking at the back of some ones head as we listened to some great teacher with his latest heavy revy.
No one there claiming scriptural superiority because of scholarship, yet great scriptural truth was everywhere.
No special leader, no self appointed clergy, no clergy / laity distinction.
Nope. Just believers who believe what the Bible says who are there to fellowship in the presence of the Lord without all the churchy traditional stuff.

I work in the Nuclear Power Industry. Occasionally some "fool" who has never even seen the inside of a reactor opens his mouth and explains to us his authoritative and expert knowledge of everything from radioactive isotopes to hydrogen recombiners.
What we know that he doesn't know is that he doesn't know diddly squat, yet he has deluded and deceived himself into believing he is an authority.
So how to we handle it in a Nuclear Plant? We let the poor fool wonder through the plant in his own ignorance. He's a legend in his own mind. As long as he doesn't push any buttons or turn valves, he's harmeless.
Conversely, the churches are infested with the same type of fool. They are a menace as soon as they open thier mouths, because by thier folly they lead people astray.
But like the fool in the Nuke, they are too foolish to understand how foolish they look to the wise.
Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Proverbs 26:5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.
Proverbs 21:16 ¶The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.
Proverbs 15:28 ¶The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.
